Vallandry est un village de montagne accueillant avec restaurants, bars et boutiques. Elle se caractérise par une gamme diversifiée de petites et grandes residences et des chalets confortables situés sur les pistes. Il est très populaire auprès des sports d'hiver néerlandais et belges.

Le ski en Vallandry signifie faire du ski dans le forêt. Le domaine skiable est généralement caché dans le paysage boisé et se caractérise - en général - également par une remarquable bonne qualité de la neige.

Vallandry fait partie du domaine skiable Paradiski. Paradiski offre une variété inégalée de styles. Les trois destinations (La Plagne, Les Arcs et Vallandry), qui représentent ensemble 20 villages de ski, le nombre d'options dans le mode d'hébergement est exceptionnellement beaucoup. Une vacance familiale dans un petit village savoyard au milieu d'un domaine skiable immense.

Le Vanoise Express, une téléphérique énorme avec une longueur de 2 km connecte Les Coches avec Vallandry (Les Arcs).

Par cette combinaison on a réalisé un domaine du ski dans le top 3 des plus grands domaines skiables du monde; un méga-région avec les gadgets les plus modernes font beaucoup de plaisir au skieur pur-sang.

De toute évidence, les possibilités sont pratiquement illimitées. Cela vaut pour les pistes, de facile à très difficile, mais aussi pour la destination. Avec des sommets au dessus de 3000 mètres on peut être sûr d'avoir de la neige pour faire du ski.

    Peisey Vallandry is on the edge of the Vanoise National Park and has some spectacular walks and hikes for all levels of fitness and experience from the gentile family strolls to the full-on ascents and descents of the massive peaks in the area. There are no less than 6 refuges in the area for those who want to plan a longer walk.

  • Nordic Country Skiing

    Peisey Vallandry has one of the largest Nordic Ski area in the Tarentaise, with 43km of pistes right on edge of the Vanoise National Park and all the lushness of the flora and fauna (chamois, ibex, larch forests, frozen waterfalls) and of the local heritage (villages, hamlets, ancient mines), there is much to be discovered by all who enter this beautiful site.

  • Dog Sledding

    Dog Sledding
    Peisey Vallandry is in the perfect location to take advantage of the stunning scenery and local wildlife. Take a ride on a 10 dog driven sled, wrapped up nice and warm on the edge of the Vanoise National Park or learn to drive your own team of 3 dogs. If you are lucky you may spot some Ibex and Chamois if you look closely...

    Take a horse drawn sleigh and discover the wonders of the mountains from a different perspective. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride through the Vanoise National Park starting in the beautiful old traditional village of Nancroix, from the cosy confines of the snug sled covered in blankets.

    Snow Shoeing (or raquettes in French) is the perfect way to see parts of the mountain you would never normally see on ski's. Hire a guide to take you on some beautiful walks or rent a pair yourself and start exploring. The Vanoise National Park is a great place to go and remember to keep your eyes pealed for Ibex and other wildlife that live in the area.

  • Paragliding

    Whether it is winter flying over the snow covered peaks with skiers below or soaring on the summer thermals over the lush green mountains, paragliding is the perfect way to see the area. Peisey Vallandry Rentals work in conjunction with a local school and can arrange tandem flights or courses so you can learn to fly your own wing. All instructors are fully qualified and the school is recognised by the French Free Flight Federation.

  • Speed Flying

    Speed Flying
    Speed Flying (or Speed Riding) is a relatively new sport, having been around only about 5 years. Although classed as an extreme sport it is actually as extreme as you make it. As long as you are a good enough skier (able to ski red runs in all snow conditions confidently) you will be able to try speed flying. More than 400 people have already learnt speedriding with speedriding-school, Les Arcs and although they may have a french accent all the instructors can teach you English!
